Specialized therapy supporting older adults as they navigate aging, health changes, loss, and life transitions with dignity, resilience, and emotional well-being.
Geropsychology
Aging brings a range of emotional challenges that can feel overwhelming at times. You may find yourself grappling with the loss of independence, health concerns, or shifts in identity. Perhaps you’re caring for a partner facing illness or struggling with feelings of isolation as your social circle changes. These transitions can stir up anxiety, sadness, frustration, or a deep sense of loss.
You might be facing difficult questions about your purpose, your relationships, and how to navigate this chapter of life. You’re not alone. Geropsychology offers support tailored to the complexities of aging, helping you build emotional resilience, find meaning, and maintain quality of life.
Geropsychology Understands Aging Is Complex
Geropsychology offers compassionate, specialized support to help you cope with these changes and maintain emotional well-being.
Meet Dr. Lisa Taylor:
Aging is not just a physical process; it’s deeply emotional. I specialize in helping older adults and their families navigate the emotional complexities of aging. With extensive experience in health psychology, caregiver support, grief, and end-of-life care, I offer a compassionate and knowledgeable approach tailored to your unique needs.
In our work together, you’ll find a space where your experiences are honored. There’s no expectation to “stay positive” or “move on.” Instead, we’ll explore your feelings, process difficult transitions, and work toward maintaining dignity, connection, and quality of life as you age.
