Helping individuals overwhelmed by life’s transitions rediscover confidence and purpose so they can embrace their next chapter with resilience.
Big changes bring big emotions. I’m here to help
Change is inevitable, but that doesn’t make it easy. Maybe you’ve started a new job or retired from a long career. Maybe you’re figuring out who you are after a divorce, or you’ve just sent your youngest off to college. These transitions can leave you feeling disoriented, anxious, or even stuck in place. You might be wondering, “Who am I now?” or “What’s next for me?”
These feelings aren’t uncommon, but they can feel isolating. It’s hard to admit when you’re struggling to adjust, especially when others seem to move through life’s changes effortlessly. You don’t have to face this alone. Life Transitions Therapy in Sudbury, MetroWest, and online across Massachusetts can help you process these emotions, regain clarity, and create a path forward that feels right for you.
Learning to Trhive through change
Life transitions therapy provides a supportive space to navigate major changes, whether expected or sudden, exciting or overwhelming. When faced with shifts like career changes, moves, relationships, parenthood, or loss, it’s natural to feel uncertain or even stuck. This type of therapy helps you process emotions, adjust to new circumstances, and build confidence in your ability to move forward with clarity and strength.
Meet Dr. Lisa Taylor:
I understand how unsettling and deeply personal life changes can be because I’ve spent my career helping people navigate them. With a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and over a decade of experience working in medical and psychological settings, I specialize in guiding clients through transitions with compassion, expertise, and a focus on real, lasting change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we’ll work together to understand what’s holding you back, uncover your strengths, and create a plan that helps you move forward in a way that feels right for you. You’re not just another client to me. I truly care about your growth, your peace of mind, and your ability to embrace this new chapter with confidence.

The First Step Toward Clarity Starts Here
I know how easy it is to put yourself last, to tell yourself you’ll figure it out on your own, or things will eventually fall into place. But the truth is, the longer you wait, the harder it can feel to move forward. The self-doubt lingers, the stress builds, and the weight of uncertainty can start to feel like too much. You don’t have to carry this alone.
You deserve support, clarity, and a space to process all the emotions that come with change. Imagine waking up feeling lighter, more sure of yourself, and ready to embrace what’s next. You’re not stuck, and you’re not alone. I’m here to help you find your footing so you can move forward with confidence. Let’s take that first step together.
